Cain, Brewers top Nationals

The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Washington Nationals 6-0 on Tuesday night. Adrian Hauser started on the bump for the Brewers as the initial out-getter. He would throw two scoreless before passing the ball off to Freddy Peralta. Freddy would go five innings strong without surrendering a single earned run to the Nationals. He would eventually earn the win.

The scoring didn’t start until the seventh inning for Milwaukee. Lorenzo Cain got it going with a double that scored three of his teammates. The Brewers would tack on three more runs in the inning as they never looked back and held on for the win.

The two teams will now run it back on Wednesday in the series finale. Milwaukee will be going for the sweep. They will trot out Brandon Woodruff to try and accomplish that. First pitch will be thrown out at 12:10.
