Sturgeon Bay took another step towards capturing a Packerland Conference title Thursday with a 2-1 win over NEW Lutheran. Madison Starr scored the decisive goal on a cross pass from Miranda Olson in the second half after Claire Tellstrom got her tally in the first half.
Lauren Dhuey was able to reach the back of the net but it was not enough as Luxemburg-Casco fell to Menasha 3-1.
Friday's soccer action includes Kewaunee playing at Two Rivers. Sevastopol/Gibraltar and Luxemburg-Casco are set to multiple games on Saturday.
