Sturgeon Bay baseball sweeps doubleheader

Sturgeon Bay and Algoma faced off in baseball in a doubleheader on Friday. One game was a blowout while the other was a nailbiter. The Clippers took both matchups. Game one was 15-1 while game two was much closer. The final score in that one was 2-0. Both games were played in Sturgeon Bay


In a matchup of two of the top teams in the Packerland Conference Southern Door couldn't quite get over the hump at Peshtigo. It went into the eighth inning where the Bulldogs got a walk-off sacrifice fly. Tyler Kroll threw all eight innings for the Eagles striking out five.
