Kewaunee and Luxemburg-Casco picked up victories while Southern Door faltered on the road in softball action Monday.

Ally Dart was a force in a 9-6 victory for the Spartans over Waupaca, striking out five from the circle and going a perfect 3-3 with two doubles at the plate.

Jackie Atkins had a pair of hits and Lexi Wery struck out six Bulldogs over four innings, but it wasn't enough in Southern Door's 4-1 loss to Peshtigo.

Hailey Gaedtke led Kewaunee to a doubleheader over Sevastopol by scores of 18-3 and 6-4 thanks to a home run in game one and a strong pitching performance in game two.

Sevastopol will play at least three more games this week beginning with a doubleheader with NEW Lutheran this afternoon before facing Gibraltar in the opening round of the WIAA Playoffs on Thursday. Luxemburg-Casco will also sneak in a game before the playoffs begin, playing at Wrightstown this afternoon.
