There are still some games left in the regular season, but baseball teams in Door and Kewaunee Counties know who they will be facing in their opening games of the playoffs. The seedings were announced Wednesday and like softball, lent itself to some games very close to home in the opening rounds. 

Next Thursday, Luxemburg-Casco plays at Denmark, Gibraltar hosts Gresham, Sevastopol travels to Bowler, Southern Door battles Kewaunee in Brussels, and Sturgeon Bay meets Algoma at home. All games are at 4:30 p.m.

As for today, the Pioneers and Storm kick off a doubleheader in Kewaunee at 4 p.m. while at 4:30 p.m. the Spartans play at Wrightstown and the Vikings host Valders.
