Brewers fall in wild game to the Braves

The Brewers went into Atlanta with a three-game winning streak on the line. Milwaukee lost but it was an entertaining game if you were able to watch past the sixth inning. The Braves led 3-0 going to the 6th when Atlanta exploded for nine runs including three home runs, all off of Corbin Burnes. Jhoulys Chacin started and allowed three runs in five innings.

The Brewers offense didn't quit and ended up scoring 1 in the seventh and 3 in the eighth. Milwaukee made a rally in the ninth scoring four runs and getting the tying run to the on-deck circle before finally going down. The final score was 12-8.

Jacob Nottingham hit his first major league home run in the eighth.

The Brewers and Braves will go at it again on Saturday at SunTrust Park. The first pitch is at 6:15 PM.
