There was plenty of hardware from the WIAA Softball Regional Tournament finding homes in the Door peninsula Thursday after three local teams won championships Thursday.

It took until the top of the ninth inning before the Kewaunee Storm could break a 2-2 tie with three runs before holding off Chilton 5-4.

Southern Door, Kewaunee's next opponent, had to wait a little bit too as they beat Valders 3-2 in eight innings.

Algoma did not have to sweat in its Division 4 regional final beating Roncalli 3-0 behind the arm of Maddie Prokash.

Luxemburg-Casco was held down by Seymour pitching as they were shutout 7-0.
