Brewers lose second straight to Phillies

The Phillies have not been kind guests to Milwaukee in their three-game series. Christian Yelich and company have dropped the first two games of the series after losing on Saturday 7-2. Milwaukee's bats could not solve Jake Arrieta who worked eight innings only allowing two runs. Brewers starter Jhoulys Chacin struggled allowing 4 runs in 5 innings. Brewers pitching allowed four home runs on the day. It was 4-2 heading to the ninth inning but the Phillies got a two-run homer Rhys Hoskins and a solo shot from J.T. Realmuto to put the game out of reach. The bright spot for the Brewers offensively was Mike Moustakas hitting his 13th home run of the season.

Milwaukee will try to salvage the series by taking game three on Sunday. Brandon Woodruff is on the mound for the Brewers against Zach Eflin for the Phillies. First pitch is at 1:10 PM.
