Packers legend Bart Starr dies at 85

The Green Bay Packers announced on Sunday morning that Packers legend Bart Starr passed away at the age of 85 in Birmingham, AL. He had been in failing health since suffering a serious stroke in 2014. 

 

The former quarterback played for the Packers from 1956 to 1971 and won five NFL championships. He is maybe most-known for scoring the game-winning touchdown in the "Ice Bowl" on December 31, 1967, to win the NFL Championship over the Dallas Cowboys.

 

Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
