Brewers fall short in Minnesota

The Milwaukee Brewers lost to the Minnesota Twins 5-3 on Tuesday night. Zach Davies started out on the mound and pitched an absolute gem. He went six innings strong without surrendering a single run to the Twins lineup. Alex Claudio would eventually come in and pick up the loss.

Aside from a couple bombs in the game, the bats were fairly quiet. Keston Hiura hit his third of the year in the eighth inning to cut the deficit to three. Yasmani Grandal would follow that up with a solo shot of his own in the ninth. The rally would stop there though as they fell short.

The Brewers will now get a much needed day off on Wednesday. They will be traveling to Pittsburg to take on the Pirates on Thursday. Chase Anderson is scheduled to take the mound for Milwaukee. First pitch will be thrown out at 6:05.
