Clipper Alum Stevenson looks forward to playing close to home this summer

Former Sturgeon Bay standout soccer player Jaden Stevenson will have lots of opportunities to play in front of friends and family this summer. Stevenson was signed by USL League Two’s Green Bay Voyageurs just before their first game in Des Moines earlier this month. After playing on two Clipper teams that made the state finals, Stevenson continued his career at Northern Illinois University this past year. Stevenson says there was a learning curve making the jump from high school to college soccer and expects a similar adjustment in the USL League Two.

The Green Bay Voyageurs will make their home debut at Capital Credit Union Park in Ashwaubenon this Friday night at 7 against WSA Winnipeg. Stevenson will contribute to DoorKewauneeHighSchoolSports.com this summer as rehashes his season with the Voyageurs.
