Braden Kita had a sensational night Wednesday in Sturgeon Bay Little League Baseball. He struck out nine in a 5-4 Red Room win over Nicolet Bank. Kita tallied two singles, three RBI and a walk-off home run. Teammate Tyler Grooters added two strikeouts during his time on the mound and had a single. Ben Marsh made a run-saving play at the plate in the sixth inning to preserve the victory.
Lawn & Landscape Specialists tallied 11 and kept the Kiwanis to seven runs scored Wednesday night at Sunset Park. Zach Krueger had three hits with a home run and a double. Drew Daoust also had three hits with a double. Wyatt Wilke belted a triple. Austin Starr, Grant Webber and Owen Dannhausen all had doubles in the win. Lawn & Landscape Specialists saw Zach Krueger, Drew Daoust, Mason Paye and Austin Starr all pitch in the win.
The Co-Op beat the Lions tonight 11-5. Chase Haberli was winning pitching. He pitched three innings allowing 0 runs with 5 strikeouts. Logan Schuh, Aaron Brey and Caden Pierre pitched three innings and allowed five runs and struck out three. Chase Haberli singled, doubled and tripled with two RBI. Caden Pierre had two hits and an RBI. Sladon Asher singled and drove in a run. Aaron Brey had two hits and three RBI. Logan Schuh doubled and had three RBI.
The Lions were led by Braden Evers three hits. Mason Motquin added a pair of hits in the loss.
