The Pirates used one big inning to knock off the Brewers on Friday night in Pittsburgh. After Jesus Aguilar tied the game up at one with a home run in the top of the third, the Pirates responded with 6 runs in the bottom of the inning. That included three bases-loaded walks. Jhoulys Chacin did not finish the inning. Keston Hiura would make it close in fourth with a three-run homer to cut the lead to 7-4. Milwaukee would not score again and Pittsburgh won 9-4.
The two teams meet again on Saturday at 3:05 PM in Pittsburgh.
