Homers powers Crew sweep of Bucs

Mike Moustakas joined Christian Yelich in the 20-plus homer club as the Milwaukee Brewers swept the Pittsburgh Pirates with a 5-2 victory Sunday afternoon.

The Pirates struck first with a two-run homer in the second inning by Jung-Ho Kang, a lead that would disappear in the sixth inning when Yelich clubbed his 24th bombed of the year followed by an RBI single by Ben Gamel in the seventh. Moustakas broke the tie in the eighth inning with his 20th homer of the season with Yasmani Grandal along for the ride. Orlando Arcia tacked on an insurance score with a sacrifice fly.

Jeremy Jeffress got the win while Josh Hader nailed down his 16th save of the season. The Brewers will take a breather on Monday before facing the Houston Astros on the road beginning on Tuesday night at 7:10.
