Brewers bats fall silent against Padres again

The west coast has not been kind to the Brewers. They lost 2 of 3 to the Giants in San Francisco and have now dropped the first two games in San Diego scoring a combined one run in both games. The Padres won 4-1 behind a stellar Major League debut game from Logan Allen who pitched 7 shutout innings. The Brewers scored their only run of the game in the 8th inning. Jesus Aguilar walked to leadoff the inning, then advanced to second and third on two groundouts and scored on a wild pitch. Brandon Woodruff allowed 4 runs in 6 innings on the mound for the Brew Crew.

The two teams will finish off their three-game series with a matinee on Wednesday. The first pitch comes at 2:40.
