Christian Yelich homered again in the Brewers 11-7 loss to the Reds on Friday night. Yelich homered for the second straight game, taking his total of the season to 29. Chase Anderson was on the mound for the Brewers and struggled. Anderson pitched five innings and gave up six earned runs. Eric Thames went two for three with two RBI’s. The Brewers have now lost five straight games which makes them a game and a half behind the Chicago Cubs for the division lead. The Brewers will look to end their five game skid on Saturday afternoon against the Reds at 3:10 in Milwaukee.
