A total of 85 cars checked in to do battle for the second point night of the season. There were 26 Stock Cars, 26 Street Stocks, 20 Sport Mods and 13 Bombers on hand. Our next night of racing will be on Saturday June 29 with a start time of 6:00pm
Billy LeMieux paced the opening laps of the Stock Car feature. While under caution on lap 6 LeMieux’s racer stopped and had to be pushed to pit lane. Dan Sell Jr. took command of the race as Scott Reinhardt and Dave Bouche gave chase. Sell ran the top side as Bouche worked his magic down low. The duo raced door to door past the midway point. With 5 to go Bouche secured the top spot and pulled away to collect his first trophy of the season. Reinhardt was able to secure second, Sell earned a hard fought third, Brett Koehler was fourth and Boulanger completed the top five.
Dennis Meisler was in command early during the Sport Mod feature as Cody Rass and Chris Budzban gave chase. At the midway point it was a freight train down low with Miesler leading Rass and Budzban as they ran nose to tail. Budzban was the first to jump out of line, testing the waters in the high groove. The gamble worked as Budzban blew by Rass and Miesler to take the lead with 5 laps to go. Budzban pulled away to his first win of the season. Meisler had a strong second, Rass was third, Tom Stark took fourth and Craig Dorner rounded out the top five.
Chase Solomon passed Chad Naze on lap 9 to take the lead of the Street Stock feature. Solomon set sail, cruising to his second feature win of the season. Allen Dillon took second, Naze as third, Dan Van Pay raced to fourth and Nathan Delsart had a strong run to place fifth.
Kyle Jorgenson lead every lap of the Bomber feature to score his first win of the season.
Troy DeGrave earned top honors in the Sport Mod Bud Shootout.
