Clipper Clays have success at state

Four members of the Sturgeon Bay Clipper Clays came home with hardware over the weekend at the STCP State Trap Competition.


Over 1,700 kids participated in the event that marked the end of the trap shooting season. Maddie Propsom placed 2nd overall in her division for Trap and Handicap Trap. Trygg Stuth placed 1st in his division earning him medals while Finn Stuth took 2nd in Doubles Trap. Mason Propsom added to the award count by finishing 5th place in overall points for combined Trap/Handicap/Doubles Trap in his division.


Mason Propsom and Alex Deuchert had rounds to remember during the state meet, each scoring a perfect round of 25 points.
