Everything was twice as nice Friday night as Ahnapee took two games from Mishicot in blowout fashion.
Ahnapee scored 7 runs in first inning on 6 hits and every inning but the 2nd as Ahnapee took game one 13-3.
Charlie Neinas was the winning pitcher with 10 strikeouts in six innings. Max Bordeau led the way by going 4-5 with a home run and a double. Alex Daoust also had two hits and Issac Berkley hit a double in the rout.
In game two, the bats stayed hot as Ahnapee won 19-1. Ahnapee scored 9 runs in the first inning on 8 hits including a double by Adam Gutschow and 2 of Bordeau’s 3 hits. 8 runs in the 3rd with the big blows of the inning being a bases loaded triple by Tyler Kroll and a double by Bordeau. Kroll, Gutschow, Bordeau, Logan Jeanquart, Christian Counard, and Alex Daoust all had multi-hit games. The man with the bat also had a good day on mound as Kroll was also the winning pitcher allowing just three hits while striking out five in five innings pitched.
