Voyageurs Outshoot Des Moines in 0-0 Draw

Green Bay Voyageurs FC (3-3-3) outshot the Des Moines Menace but were unable to find the back of the net, forcing a 0-0 draw on Thursday afternoon at Capital Credit Union Park.


The Voyageurs dominated possession in the first half, but were only able to muster up one shot. In the second half GBVFC managed to fire off three more shots but were unable to pull ahead.


Goaltender Jamison Yoder made two saves to earn the draw for the Voyageurs. Green Bay outshot Des Moines 4-3.


Green Bay will square off with St. Louis Lions on Saturday (7/6) and Sunday (7/7) at Tony Glavin Soccer Park. The Voyageurs will wrap up the regular season with a string of three straight on home matches beginning on Thursday July 11 at Capital Credit Union Park.
