The closure of a bridge in Algoma will force runners onto a different route during this year's Shanty Days Run 5K.

The Second Street Bridge is closed through the fall, forcing the route to make up mileage towards the end of the race when runners will have to do an out-and-back on Feld Street before finishing the race along Lake Michigan.
