The Brewers comfortable lead in the sixth inning turned into a blowout in the seventh against the Braves on Tuesday night. Milwaukee led Atlanta 5-1 going into the seventh when the Brewers exploded for 6 runs capped off by a grand slam from Christian Yelich, his 33rd home run of the season. The Brewers would add two more runs in the eighth to win 13-1. Keston Hiura started the scoring off with a solo homer in the second and Lorenzo Cain also hit a solo shot in the sixth. Hiura ended up going a perfect 3-3 with two walks, three runs scored and two RBI's. All-Star Brandon Woodruff was terrific on the mound only allowing one run in 6 2/3 innings and striking out seven.
The two teams will play the rubber match in a matinee at Miller Park, 1:10 PM first pitch.
