A strong third inning helped keep the Arizona Diamondbacks ahead of the Milwaukee Brewers most of Friday evening. The Diamondbacks scored six-run in the third with help from a Jarrod Dyson single, a Ketel Marte double, an Eduardo Escobar triple and a Christian Walker home run. Brewers starter Jhoulys Chacín's evening ended after giving up seven unearned runs. The Brewers high point of the game was Christian Yelich who hit his MLB-leading 35th home run of the season, a two-run blast in a three-run seventh. That helped Milwaukee close the gap. But Arizona held on for the win 10-7. Milwaukee and Arizona meet again at 7:10 PM for game three of their four-game series at Chase Field.
