While the area's high school football teams are a couple days into their first week of practices, their middle school counterparts are getting ready to do the same.

At Gibraltar, coaches will be holding a parents meeting on Monday August 12th at 7 PM at the school's baseball field. Parents will be able to have their questions answered along with receiving additional information and sports packets.  Sturgeon Bay middle school football parents had their meeting back in July while Kewaunee's squad at their season-opening session Wednesday night.  For Southern Door, there will be a parents meeting and equipment handout for seventh- and eighth-grade students planning to play football this school year on Tuesday, Aug. 13, at 5 p.m. in the elementary gym/cafeteria. Luxemburg-Casco will have its parent meeting following the team's first practice on August 19th.
