Over 500 people participated in this year’s Algoma Shanty Days 5K Run/Walk on Saturday. There were 290 females and 253 males who took part in the event. Bryan Finnel was the first person to cross the finish line with a time of 15:07. Nicole Strutz was the first female to finish the event with a time of 17:56. The average finish time for the whole field was 32:55.
