A RBI sacrifice fly in the seventh inning was the only scoring either team could muster in the Texas Rangers' 1-0 win over the Milwaukee Brewers Sunday afternoon.
Both starting pitchers sparkled with the Brewers' Jordan Lyles going seven innings of three-hit ball with nine strikeouts and Mike Minor going eight innings of four-hit ball and 11 strikeouts. A walk and a double set up the lone score of the game for either team when the Rangers' Isiah Kiner-Falefa skied a pop fly to Trent Grisham to drive in Willie Calhoun.
The loss ends a five game winning streak before the Brewers host the AL Central leading Minnesota Twins in a border battle beginning Tuesday night.
