Playoff field set for Door County League

The final four is set for the Door County League baseball playoffs beginning next week after the final weekend slate of the regular season.


Maplewood captured the final slot in the four team tournament with an 11-9 victory over Washington Island thanks to a four hit, four RBI day by the Mets' Alex Ploor.


West Jacksonport cemented its place as the number three seed with a 14-8 win over league leader Egg Harbor. Riley Cordier knocked in three runs and Woody Schartner went yard in the Ports win.


Sister Bay ended its season strong with an 11-2 victory over Kolberg behind five hits by Bubba Laughlin.
