Algoma and Sturgeon Bay will get their first tastes of eight-man football on Friday as teams prepare for their regular-season openers next week.

The county's newest eight-man team Sturgeon Bay will scrimmage against defending state champion Sevastopol.  Algoma will get its first cracks at the eight-man game when plays Gibraltar.

Southern Door is scheduled to scrimmage against Crandon and Oconto Falls while Luxemburg-Casco will wait until next week to face an opponent.
