Rodgers expected back on Sunday

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is expected to be back on the field for the Packers’ practice on Sunday. Speaking to the media on Friday, head coach Matt LaFleur said “Yeah, that’s the plan, but you know, a lot of it is going to be predicated on how he feels. I think he feels better, but we’ll see Sunday”. Rodgers was a game-time scratch for the Packers’ Thursday matchup against the Ravens as he dealt with some back tightness. The team said sitting Rodgers was a precautionary move. In his absence, DeShone Kizer got the start at quarterback for the Packers with Tim Boyle and Manny Wilkins seeing action as well. The Packers next preseason game will be on Thursday, August 22nd against the Oakland Raiders. The game will be played across the Canadian border at Investors Group Field in Winnipeg, MB.
