SBHS football transition going well

After having to transfer to 8-man football due to low turnout and player safety concerns, the Sturgeon Bay High School football team is seeing positive results. The team has had a few more members, including a female player, join the squad since the switch and the roster is now at over 20 players. Head Coach Jim Adams says the recent scrimmage at Sevastopol has helped him and the team understand the differences between 8-man and 11-man football.

Adams adds that the team is working on the fundamentals and worrying about improving themselves leading up to the week of their first game at Oakfield on September 6th. The full Sturgeon Bay High School football schedule will be released on a later date.
