Tom Sawyer knows how to make an exit after he helped lead the Sister Bay Bays to a Door County League baseball playoff title Sunday afternoon over the Maplewood Mets 3-1.
The game entered the final frame of the game when the MVP and batting champion Sawyer stepped up to the plate. A two-run homer later, the Bays were champions once again. Bubba Laughlin drove in the other run while Sam Forkert had a trio of hits. Nick Brauer took the hard loss on the mound for the Mets.
