The Gibraltar Vikings football team needed short memories to prepare for their Thursday night match-up against Gillett.

Not only did the Vikings have one less day to prepare for their matchup against the Tigers, but are coming off of a 54-6 loss to Florence last Friday night. Ahead of them is a balanced rushing attack of Gillett's Bo Krueger, Derek Block, Andy Lemens, and Anthony Carroll. The four combined to gain 218 yards on the ground in the Tigers' 32-0 win over Lena. During pre-game interviews, Gibraltar head coach Mike Peck echoed sentiments he made after last week's game about getting into a better position.

Peck says Alex Laughlin and Dominic Krauel are expected to play Thursday night after sustaining injuries early in the Florence game. Tim Kowols and Jay Kita will have the call on 105.1 The Viking beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the pregame show and kick-off at 7 p.m.
