The Sturgeon Bay girls’ volleyball team went 1-1 in their first matchups of the 2019 season. The Clippers participated in the Reedsville Triangular and faced off against Reedsville and Freedom. Sturgeon Bay got ahead 1-0 against Freedom with a 25-23 win in the first set but dropped the next two with both scores being 27-25. It was a different story when the Clippers played host Reedsville as the team was able to win all three sets by scores of 25-18, 25-16 and 25-20. The Clippers next match comes on September 5th as they will take on the Southern Door Eagles at home. Match time is scheduled for 7 P.M.
