The Green Bay Packers wrapped up their 2019 preseason with a 27-20 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs Thursday. The Chiefs got on the board first with a first quarter field goal but the Packers responded with a 74yd pick-six by LB Ty Summers and a 2yd TD pass to TE Jace Sternberger from QB Tim Boyle. The Chiefs scored a 2yd TD of their own to make it a 13-10 ballgame but right before halftime Green Bay scored another touchdown, this time a 1yd pass to WR Evan Baylis from QB DeShone Kizer which made the score 20-13 going into the break. Kansas City came out strong in the second half and added a touchdown and field goal in the third quarter to tie up the game. The two teams then traded punts before the Packers put together a 10-play, 73yd drive that ended with a 3yd touchdown run by rookie RB Dexter Williams that sealed the game for good. The Packers finished the preseason with a 2-2 record and will look forward to their 2019 regular season opener against the Chicago Bears on September 5th. The game will be played in Chicago at Soldier Field; kickoff is scheduled for 7:20 P.M.
