The Kewaunee Storm failed to generate any lightning on August 27th, dropping their first two matches of the year at the Stevens Point Invitational. The host Panthers kept Kewaunee in check 17-25 and 18-25 for a two-set sweep. The second match of the day against the Berlin Indians got off on the wrong foot with Kewaunee dropping the first set 14-25. The Storm stabilized, taking the second set 25-17 but it was all Berlin in the deciding frame, 5-15. Kewaunee made adjustments and fared better in a tournament at the end of the week.
