Kewaunee football looking for complete game

Last Friday night, Kewaunee evened its season at 1-1 with a roller coaster win at Manawa. The Storm responded well to the week one loss by putting together a great first quarter. After 12 minutes of play it was 21-0 Storm. At halftime though, it was tied. Head Coach Randy Charles says he is not concerned, yet, about his team's inability to put together a complete football game.

That doesn't mean it isn't on his wishlist though. To open conference play, Kewaunee faces Coleman. The Cougars like to prowl on the ground. Expect Tyler Blanchard and Owen Kinziger to both get carries. They are each over 100 yards rushing on the season. Kewaunee is more balanced. In the win against Manawa, the Storm threw for 242 yards and ran for 180. Owen Kudick remains the threat on the ground with Max Hanrahan the receiver of choice for QB Ryan Carmichael.
