You can make it four in a row for surging Milwaukee Brewers after they defeated the Miami Marlins 8-3 on the road Monday night.
The Brewers jumped on the Marlins early with two runs in the first inning and one more tally in the fifth before the Marlins got on the board in their half of the fifth inning to make it 3-1. After trading runs in the sixth, the Brewers blew it open in the seventh thanks to a two-run triple by Trent Grisham and a two-run homer by Yasmani Grandal.
The Brewers were able to inch forward in the wild card race after the Diamondbacks lost 3-1 to the Mets. The two teams match up again for start just after 6 p.m. tonight in Miami.
