Soccer recap: Algoma, Sturgeon Bay capture soggy wins

Goals came easier than the footing for soccer teams across the peninsula Thursday evening.

Algoma scored five second half goals to win its match against rival Kewaunee 6-0.

Sturgeon Bay continued its hot streak scoring, getting a 6-2 win over NEW Lutheran.

Luxemburg-Casco will play the first of its soccer quad games today against Edgewood, Platteville, and Port Washington at Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Port Washington.
