It is another week and another different starting time for the Gibraltar Vikings as they host the Laona-Wabeno Rebels on 105.1 The Viking. Both teams are coming off big week three wins before Saturday’s matinee. The Vikings were able to contain Suring’s Logan Stuart and hit big plays of their own in its 43-24 victory of the Eagles. The Rebels won in a 48-0 shutout of Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas. In four weeks the Vikings have split their home and road schedule so far on three different days of the week. Gibraltar head coach Mike Peck says they adjusted their schedule accordingly to game plan for what expects to be a tough test for his young team.
Tim Kowols and Jay Kita will have the call Saturday afternoon on 105.1 The Viking beginning at 12:30 p.m. with the pregame show followed by kickoff at 1 p.m.
