Sevastopol's best efforts against Florence on Friday night couldn't lead to a victory against the Bobcats. Florence won 60-0 on the Pioneers home field in a game heard on 104.1 WRLU and DoorKewauneeHighSchoolSports.com.
The Bobcats got off to a quick start, scoring touchdowns with the two-point conversions on all four of their first quarter possessions and led 32-0 after one. Sevastopol couldn't get much going on offense. Florence picked off four Triston Beauchamp passes in the game which came after last week's four touchdown game against Green NEW Lutheran/Oneida Nation. Kaden Schuls and Toby Wheeler were the big playmakers for Florence on offense and on defense. Tommy Giblin, Christian Terhardt and Spencer Evenson were the standouts for Sevastopol on the defensive side of the field.
Sevastopol is now 0-4 overall on the season and 0-3 in the MONLPC. The Pioneers will try to bounce back next Friday night when they host Wausaukee. That game will also be on 104.1 WRLU with the pregame show starting at 6:30 PM and kickoff at 7.
