The Southern Door Eagles could not get their running game going and could not stop Coleman’s in a 44-0 defeat Friday night on 102.1 MORE FM. The Cougars defense kept Nick Baudhuin and the Eagles in check for most of the game outside of a 55 -yard passing play by Alex Daoust in the game’s opening minutes. Stopping that drive inside their own red zone propelled the Cougars on their first drive, which was capped off by a touchdown run by quarterback Cayden Bintz. In the second quarter, Bintz and Zach Cops would score on touchdowns from inside the 10-yard line to make it 24-0 at the half. Owen Kinziger and Tyler Blanchard would add third-quarter scores before Zach Cops added his second touchdown of the game in the closing minutes. The Eagles return to action next Friday for its homecoming showdown against Oconto. That game can be heard on 102.1 MORE FM beginning at 6:30 p.m. followed by kickoff at 7 p.m.
