Five of the six of the local Packerland Conference volleyball teams will be in action Thursday night.

With first serves slated for 7 p.m., local conference matches of note include Sturgeon Bay hosting Peshtigo, Sevastopol traveling to Southern Door, Algoma playing at home against Oconto, and Gibraltar battling NEW Lutheran in Fish Creek.

Algoma is currently tied for the conference lead with Oconto with a 2-0 record. Southern Door and NEW Lutheran are tied for third with 1-0 records, while Sturgeon Bay is locked up with Peshtigo for fifth with 1-1 records. Gibraltar, Sevastopol, and Kewaunee are all looking for their first Packerland wins of the season.
