Southern Door looks for homecoming victory on 102.1 MORE FM

The Southern Door Eagles hope to right the ship in front of a homecoming crowd when it meets Oconto Friday night in Brussels on 102.1 MORE FM.

The Eagles come into the contest 1-3 after struggling in its 44-0 loss to Coleman. They did have some bright spots in their loss against the Cougars, including a 58-yard passing play from Alex Daoust to Marcus Marchant. The Blue Devils have not fared much better in their opening weeks of play, going 1-2 with a victory over Crandon as its only win. They are averaging only eight points a game on the season, including last week's 46-6 loss to Manawa.

Tim Kowols and Brett Kinnard will have the call beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the pregame show followed by kick off on 102.1 MORE FM at 7 p.m.

The local slate of games is split this weekend with three games scheduled for Friday and another two for Saturday. Kewaunee is off this week due to a forfeit.
