Cross-country preview: Area teams head to Mishicot

Every cross country program in Door and Kewaunee Counties will race Thursday afternoon when Mishicot hosts the Jim Bremser Invitational.

Thirty-three squads including Algoma, Kewaunee, Luxemburg-Casco, Southern Door, Sturgeon Bay, Sevastopol, and Gibraltar will all compete when the first gun fires at 3:30 p.m., albeit the Spartans and Clippers will likely compete separately from the smaller local schools.  Area runners captured small school titles last year with Gibraltar alum Evan Henry and Sevastopol junior Olivia Stenzel capturing first place in their respective races.
