Badgers defense remains impressive in win

Wisconsin football beat Northwestern 24-15 at Camp Randall Stadium Saturday but it wasn't the prettiest. The defense actually scored more points than the Badger offense. Quarterback Jack Coan was a pedestrian 15/24 for 113 yards and an interception. Running back Jonathan Taylor didn't have the holes he was provided against Michigan last week but still fought for 119 yards on 26 carries. Taylor punched it in on fourth down on the opening possession from 13 yards out for his lone TD of the day. Collin Larsh provided a 36-yard field goal and the other two scores came from the defensive unit. Northwestern scored 12 of its 15 points in the fourth quarter in a comeback attempt.
