Gibraltar/Sevastopol scored first, but not often enough as it fell 4-2 to NEW Lutheran Monday night to highlight Monday's soccer slate.
Ben Fitzgerald registered the first goal for the Vikineers but saw the slim lead slip away before half. Kiegen Sargent was able to earn the second tally of the match, but not before the Blazers were able to put the game away with three second-half goals. Hayden Hoffman had six saves in the loss for the Vikineers. The team is back in action Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. for a road tilt against Sturgeon Bay. As a result, the Clippers match against Stockbridge and the Vikineers game against Luxemburg-Casco have been postponed.
Kewaunee will play their rescheduled match against NEW Lutheran at 4 p.m. at home.
