The heavy rain in recent days forced Sturgeon Bay High School officials to cancel Thursday's cross country invitational at Crossroads at Big Creek.

It means Algoma, Sturgeon Bay, Sevastopol, and Gibraltar will have to wait for another day to race. Southern Door was listed on the schedule to race at the Sturgeon Bay Invitational, but also has an event scheduled for Reedsville on Thursday as well according to PackerlandConference.org. No word if the 4 p.m. slate of races has been canceled as well, which would affect cross country teams from Southern Door and Kewaunee.

Luxemburg-Casco's invitational in Pulaski has been canceled.
