Southern Door High School football enters Friday's game at 3-3 needing a win over Kewaunee to remain in the chase for a postseason berth. The Eagles started slow losing their first two games of the year against Winneconne and Wausau East. The middle of the season has been a hot-and-cold stretch with easy victories sandwiching a blowout loss at Coleman. Working in the Eagles favor is the forfeit victory last week against Sturgeon Bay which acts as a de facto bye week. Southern Door has had 14 days to focus on the Storm.
Southern Door will rely on another big game from Nick Baudhuin on the ground. The Eagles defense will have to contend with a balanced Kewaunee offensive attack. Storm quarterback Ryan Carmichael can hand off to running back Owen Kudick or deliver passes to Max Hanrahan and Benjamin Heim.
