While other local teams were forced out of action, Southern Door and Kewaunee were able to find a course just dry enough to race on in Reedsville Thursday.
On the boys' side, Southern Door's Sam Dean was the top local finisher with a time of 18:40 in the 5K race. While the Eagles didn't have enough boys to score as a team, the Storm was able to take seventh.
For the girls, the Eagles' Lydiah LeCloux finished just ahead of the Storm's Elizabeth Lamack with both breaking the 23-minute barrier. The Storm took fifth while the Eagles took eighth.
