The University of Wisconsin football team continued its dominance of MAC football teams Saturday besting Kent State 48-0. Wisconsin shut out Central Michigan in Week Two 61-0.
A week after a poor offensive effort, quarterback Jack Coan regrouped to go 12-15 for 134 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Jonathan Taylor had four scores on the ground gaining 186 yards. Taylor averaged almost 10 yards a carry.
While the offense has struggled at moments, the Wisconsin defense has been the definition of consistency. The Golden Flashes managed only 123 yards.
